John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has called on Ghanaians to vote for a change in government in this year’s general elections.

He emphasized that the youth of Ghana cannot afford to waste another four years under the New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration.

In a Facebook post, Mr. Mahama said, “The youth of Ghana don’t have four years to waste! We must vote for change on December 7 to build the Ghana we want together.”

During the NDC campaign launch in Tamale on Saturday, July 27, John Dramani Mahama assured that the National Democratic Congress would safeguard the ballot in the 2024 general elections to ensure the people’s will is accurately reflected. He urged all NDC members to remain vigilant on December 7.

“We are prepared to protect the votes,” he said at the event. Mr. Mahama also pledged to always be honest with Ghanaians, stating he will only make promises he can fulfill.

“I will be truthful to you, I will never tell you lies,” he said. Mr Mahama further said that change is calling Ghana in the 2024 general elections.

To him, the problems that have been created need new hands to solve them, not the very people who caused them.

“We solve problems with the same people who caused the crisis,” he said.

He added “it is not going to be easy, the more I look at the situation it is even worse than what the govt is telling us, it will take hard work and cooperation of the whole country”

He further assured Ghanaians that he would be truthful to them at all times.
