Three construction workers have tragically lost their lives due to the collapse of a building at Asempa Down in Kasoa, Awutu Senya East Municipality, Central Region.

According to a survivor, the deceased were trapped under the rubble of the building they were working on.
The carpenter died on the spot, while the other two succumbed to their injuries on the way to the hospital.

Reports indicate that the workers were filling concrete for the first floor of the building when the structure collapsed.
Patrick Sarfo, a worker who survived, recounted that he saw the building collapsing and managed to save himself by pushing a colleague aside and jumping to safety.

He had previously noticed issues with the building’s foundation and had warned others to address the problem. Passers-by assisted in rescuing those trapped under the debris.
