Eke Nadia, alias ‘Nadz’ or ‘Nad-E’, is a Ghanaian female Olympic Games Athletes for the Woman’s Triple Jump.

Biography

She was born on January 11,1993, and she is currently 28 years old.

Nadia took part in the World Athletics Championship in 2017 in London and World Challenge – Ten best performances in 2017 Triple Jump with 13.58 result.

She is scheduled to take part in the Women’s Triple Jump Qualification- Group A

She studied Psychology at Columbia University, New York, NY, USA.

She speaks English language very fluently.
She missed the 2019 World Championships in Doha, Qatar due to injury.

She sustained a spinal disc injury in 2013 while training. 

She initially played basketball during her high school days. “After my basketball season was done during spring of my seventh grade year, my sister suggested that I join her on the track team since I had to stay with her after school until we got picked up. When it was time to sign up for the meet I put my name down under triple jump because I thought it was the long jump and because all the other jumping events were full.”

While in high school, she was named the Gatorade Massachusetts Player of the Year in 2011. 
She has served as an assistant track and field coach at both Columbia University and the University of New York in the United States of America.

She has also worked as programme manager at the Boys and Girls Club in New York City, also at the University of Miami School of Law.

In 2020, she took up a post as community engagement office at the Special Olympics organisation in the state of Florida. 

She has a master’s degree in education in sports management from the University of Miami in Florida, United States of America.

She has won the Gold Event Medal, Silver Event Medal and Bronze Event Medal.
