Two nabbed for allegedly purchasing G-3 ammunition

The Police at Worawora in the Oti Region have arrested two (2) suspects for allegedly buying suspected G-3 ammunition.

According to a Ghana Police report dated 29th, March, 2021, the suspects, who were nabbed on March 22, were also in possession of wraps of dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp, when they got busted at Kwamekrom Abdulkordzi, a suburb of Worawora.

The two, Godwin Kpodo Agbevitor (Landlord) and Samuel Agheshi alias Adah Emma were arrested at Kwamekrom Abdulkordzi as a result of police-public cooperation. 16 wraps of dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp and 181 rounds of suspected G-3 ammunitions have so far been retrieved from the suspects, respectively. They are currently in Police custody following a remand by the Jasikan Circuit Court on 25 March to appear on 29th March, 2021.

The Oti Regional Police Command is encouraging the public to report persons involved in criminal activities to face the rigors of the law and assures informants of absolute confidentiality.
