Two teenage brothers have killed the rest of their family, after reaching a suicide agreement – which was to be honoured after the massacre.
According to the Allen Police Department, they were called for a welfare inspection, at 1am on Monday, April 5, 2021, at the Pine Bluff Drive in Allen, Texas.
As reported, they said a family friend called 911 because they were worried that at least one person in the family was suicidal.
Upon getting to the house, they discovered the bodies the family of six, which consisted of 54-year-old father Towhidul Islam; 56-year-old mother Iren Islam; 77-year-old grandmother Altafun Nessa; 21-year-old Tanvir Towhid; and 19-year-old twins Farbin Towhid and her brother Farhan Towhid.
Although the motive is not clear, Sgt Jon Felty told reporters that they believed the young brothers had a murder and suicide agreement.
In his words, “It looks like two teenage sons entered into an agreement that they we’re going to commit suicide, and that they were going to take their family members with them.”
Investigators did not specify when the homicide occurred, but believe it occurred sometime during the weekend. They also did not disclose how they died, and assured that there was no further threat to the public.
The police do not have any previous trouble records of families who have immigrated from Bangladesh.
