The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has roles out a new remote work visa, which would enable employees from all over the world to live and work remotely in the UAE even if the company is located in another country.
This was made known via Twitter post on Sunday, March 21, 2022, by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Kit Al Maktoum, Prime Minister and Chief of Dubai.
His post reads: “During a cabinet meeting I chaired, we approved a new Remote work Visa that enables employees from all over the world to live and work remotely from the UAE even if their companies are based in another country.”

The COVID-19 pandemic is noted to have fueled the UAE’s work-from-home policy, which has been widely embraced by it’d citizens.
Earlier in January, the government had announced citizenship for all foreign investors and talented professionals, in bid to promote and expand the kingdom’s economic growth.
