In May 2024, UBA Ghana welcomed 44 new staff members who completed the Graduate Management Accelerated Programme (GMAP), a six-month rigorous training that combines classroom instruction and on-the-job experience.

This marks the third batch of graduates, following the success of 14 and 40 participants in the first and second cohorts, respectively.

UBA Ghana’s Managing Director and CEO, Uzoechina Molokwu, congratulated the new employees and urged them to embody the bank’s core values of Excellence, Enterprise, and Execution.

He emphasized the importance of personal development, financial discipline, and adhering to established protocols.

Evelyn Effie Quansah, Head of Human Resources, also congratulated the graduates and appreciated their diligence and commitment.

She reiterated UBA’s commitment to staff development, stating that the bank will continue to build staff capacity to improve profitability.

The newly inducted staff expressed their eagerness to bring their expertise and dedication to the team, committing to drive the bank’s continued growth and success.

The GMAP program aims to train and recruit new hires to fill critical vacancies, reduce unemployment, and develop critical human capital for the bank.
