Dorset, in south-western England, is to hold its annual knob-eating competition online for the first time.
The raucous event – in which contestants aim to eat more of the county’s traditional biscuits than their rivals – usually draws huge crowds.
But this year, 100 competitive eaters will instead live-stream their knob-eating attempts.
Its sister event, the Dorset knob-throwing festival, has been postponed until 2021.
