VFS Global is pleased to announce that residents of Ghana traveling to the UK can now schedule appointments to submit their visa applications at the new state-of-the-art Visa Application Centre in Accra.
Starting from October 22, 2024, applicants for a UK visa will be directed to VFS Global to book appointments and complete their applications.
Additionally, customers can opt for various services designed to simplify the application process.

Our long-standing partnership with UK Visas and Immigration, which began in 2003, has been fruitful, and we look forward to providing travelers from Ghana with our best-in-class services.”
UK visa applicants can choose from a variety of optional services offered by VFS Global for added comfort and convenience.
These services include document upload assistance, Prime Time for application submissions outside of regular hours, SMS notifications, document checking, and courier return of passports once a decision has been made.
Customers can also submit their UK visa applications from the comfort of their home, office, or any preferred location using the On Demand Mobile Visa service.
With the Keep My Passport While Applying service, applicants can retain their passports after submitting their applications and enrolling biometrics. They will only need to provide their passports again once a decision is made.
These services can be booked in advance at VFS Global’s website or at the Visa Application Centre during the appointment.
It is important to note that these services are entirely optional and do not affect the processing time or outcomes of visa applications.
Having partnered with UK Visas and Immigration since 2003, VFS Global previously provided visa services in 58 countries before this new contract.
The company has now been awarded a contract to offer UK visa services in 142 countries globally. In Africa, VFS Global will establish Visa Application Centres for the UK in 31 countries by October 2024.
