Hollard Ghana has awarded Carlene Abena Ameyaa Affram, the valedictorian of the University of Media, Arts, and Communication-IJ (UniMAC-IJ), the prestigious Hollard Prize at the university’s 3rd Congregation ceremony in Accra. This honor recognizes Carlene’s outstanding academic performance and dedication to excellence in her field of study.

The Hollard Prize is part of the Hollard x Academia initiative, a partnership between Hollard Ghana and UniMAC, which rewards top students for their achievements in academia, personal development, and entrepreneurial thinking. Carlene received a laptop, a cash prize, and a citation as part of the award.
Cynthia Ofori-Dwumfuo, Group Head of Marketing and Corporate Affairs at Hollard Ghana, praised Carlene’s accomplishments, saying, “At Hollard, we are committed to nurturing potential and celebrating excellence.
Carlene’s dedication and hard work exemplify the qualities we stand for, and we are excited to honor her for her bright future. We are confident she will make a significant impact on her community and the industry.”
Carlene, who majored in Public Relations, has been a consistent high achiever throughout her studies, and her passion for learning and determination earned her this distinguished recognition.
Since its inception in 2021, Hollard X Academia has significantly affected several lives in various institutions via its Streetwise Finance programme, mentoring engagement, resource sharing, and more.
Schools that benefitted from the social investment initiative include the University of Ghana Business School, the University of Cape Coast, the University of Energy and Natural Resources, and the University of Media, Arts, and Communication, demonstrating the far-reaching influence of this initiative.
