The University of Professional Studies will on Monday, February 22, 2020, launch the UPSA Community Academic Project at La Nkwatanang M/A Basic School at Madina in Accra.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof Okoe Amartey, will use the occasion to formally adopt the School as part of the 55th Anniversary celebrations, according to a release from UPSA.

He will also roll out a number of initiatives aimed at improving the academic performance of pupils at La Nkwatanang cluster of schools.

The ceremony, which is scheduled at 10am on the day, forms part of the Vice-Chancellor’s “Investing in our Community” initiative which saw the University organise free vacation classes last year, for senior high school students within the community in order to improve upon their academic performance.
