Ghanaian veteran actor and creative, Albert Odartei Jackson-Davis, has passed away following a battle with an undisclosed illness.
The news of his death was first shared on Saturday, September 14, and confirmed on Monday, September 16, by Akunu Dake, CEO of Heritage Development, in a heartfelt Facebook post.

In his post, Dake reflected on his friendship with Jackson-Davis, recalling their time together during the PANAFEST years in the 1990s, where Jackson-Davis served as Deputy Executive Director.
The announcement has since sparked an outpouring of grief from the public and fellow creatives.
Jackson-Davis was celebrated for his powerful performances, often portraying elite characters in society with a unique blend of simplicity and class.
His poised dialogue delivery and articulate style earned him admiration from peers and fans.
Some of his notable works include films like Heritage Africa, The Storm, and the popular comedy My Very Ghanaian Wedding.
