Vice president Mahamudu Bawumia and other top government officials commiserate with John Kumah family

Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has commiserated with the family of the late Deputy Finance Minister, John KumahDuring the visit, the Vice President signed the book of condolence for the late legislator from Ejisu.

The 45-year-old MP died early hours of Thursday, March 7, 2024.

He is survived by his wife Apostle Mrs. Lilian Kumah, and six childrenDr Bawumia who visited the family of the late Ejisu Member of Parliament (MP) was accompanied by the Chief of Staff, Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and some government and party officials.

In a Facebook post, the flagbearer of the NPP said “I had the opportunity to work with John on several projects to my greatest admiration. Indeed, Ghana and the NPP have lost a hardworking son.”“My deepest condolences to Lilian and the children, his mother, the entire family, and all loved ones. John, Damirifa Due!,” he stated.

Meanwhile, Ashanti Regional Minister, Simon Osei-Mensah in an interview on March 8, revealed that the late Deputy Finance Minister had arrived in the constituency on Tuesday from Germany where he was receiving health care, intending to participate in parades to celebrate Independence Day the next day, Wednesday, March 6, But Unfortunately,he felt too ill during the night and could not make it to the parade ground.
