
The Vice President of Ghana Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has urged Ghanaian Voters who are eligible but yet to register are encouraged to participate in the limited voters registration processes.
The Voters registration exercise which started on the 12th of September 2023 is expected to end on the 12th of October 2023
The registration process is organized by the electoral commission in their district office nationwide.
According to Dr Bawumia the fundamental right to vote start with the responsibility to registering with the Electoral Commission
He is encouraging all Ghanaians to actively participate in the process to ensure their eligibility in the forth coming 2024 General elections. Hence eligible voters who turned 18 since the last elections or those who could not register due to some reasons can now visit their district offices to get the registration done.
To qualify for the registration, individuals are to come with either their Ghana card or Ghana passport as a means of identification.
