Former Minority Leader and Tamale South MP Haruna Iddrisu has highlighted the critical role of youth engagement in the upcoming December elections.
Speaking at a forum in Kumasi, he emphasized that voting is the most powerful means of enacting change.
Addressing the prevailing disillusionment among the youth, Haruna Iddrisu encouraged young Ghanaians to exercise their civic duty, stressing that electing new leaders could address their grievances.
“Ghana is going through crucial presidential and parliamentary elections, as young people, dedicate yourselves to exercising your civic constitutional duty in a manner that is responsible and in a manner that guarantees peace, and in a manner that guarantees the existence of our country.
“Ghana is all we have. Therefore, all of you must dedicate a commitment to preserving the peace and tranquillity of our community,” Haruna Iddrisu stated.
