Jamaican Dancehall legend Vybz Kartel has announced that he will hold his first music concert in December 2024 after serving 13 years in prison.
This event marks a significant moment in his career.
In an interview with Jamaica’s TVJ ER, Kartel shared his excitement about the upcoming concert, revealing that it will initially be held in Jamaica with plans to tour other countries afterward.
He humorously noted that fans might need to “sell an organ or two” to attend the highly anticipated event.
“I’ve heard the cries of my fans for a comeback concert, and we’re making it happen,” Kartel stated.
Many fans in Jamaica, the Caribbean, and around the world wanted a live performance from Vybz Kartel shortly after he was released from prison on July 31.
