John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has emphasized that Ghanaians need an experienced leader to guide the country.

He argues that the youth are not interested in trial and error and should therefore vote for him in this year’s election due to his extensive experience.
Speaking to the Ada Traditional Council as part of his campaign on Tuesday, August 27, Mr. Mahama stated, “We don’t have time; Ghana does not have the luxury of time. Our youth, who are both our future and present, cannot afford a trial and error approach.”
“This one will come and try, dump us in a ditch then the driver’s mate will come and take it and try again and go and crush us even further into the ditch.
“We need experience, we need one who has done it before, we need the licensed driver to take over the vehicle and move the vehicle towards where God has said we should be.”
