Wendy Shay, the Afrobeats sensation, has finally cleared up the misconception surrounding her song “Who Cares”.

The song, released during her publicized dispute with manager and Ruff Town records CEO Bullet, was not a diss track aimed at him. Instead, it was a creative expression of her emotions during that time.

In a recent interview with DJ Slim on YouTube, Wendy Shay set the record straight. “The situation inspired me to write the song, but it’s not directed at Bullet. I understand why he might feel that way, but it’s not a personal attack.”

She explained that as an artist, she channels her emotions into her music, and “Who Cares” was simply a product of that process.

The dispute between Wendy Shay and Bullet had sparked speculation about their working relationship.

However, the singer has confirmed that the issue has been resolved, and she is back working with Ruff Town records.

“Elders stepped in, and we’ve ironed out our issues. I’m happy to be working with Bullet again,” she announced, putting the controversy to rest.

Bullet had earlier commended Sammy Flex for his excellent work in managing Shatta Wale, highlighting the challenges artiste managers face.

He had also mentioned that Wendy Shay’s “Who Cares” song was a diss track aimed at him, but Wendy Shay’s recent clarification has put that speculation to rest.

With the issue resolved, fans can look forward to more great music from Wendy Shay and Ruff Town records.
