A Deputy Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Alfred Tuah Yeboah, has assured the Public Accounts Committee of Parliament that significant progress has been made in prosecuting cases referred to his office.

The committee had referred several institutions for prosecution due to various infractions, including procurement breaches.
These institutions include the Ghana Law School, the Registrar General’s Department, the National Blood Service, the Ghana Red Cross Society, and the Ghana Maritime Authority, among others.
During his appearance before the Public Accounts Committee, Alfred Tuah Yeboah detailed the steps being taken to address these infractions and advance the prosecution of these cases.
“We have taken a giant step. So the AG’s office is reviewing it and we intend to have a special team to tackle all those matters,” he stated.
