Marvin Baah Boadu, a young Ghanaian man in his 20s, was shot dead in Toronto, Canada.
The incident occurred near an apartment complex in the Clearview Heights and Trethewey Drive area.
Baah Boadu was shot multiple times around 8 PM on Monday and succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
He had moved to Canada to study and work.
This marks Toronto’s 72nd homicide this year.
Another Ghanaian, Adu Boakye, 39, was fatally shot in February.
The Ghanaian community is concerned about public safety and gun violence.
Community leaders are calling for increased police presence and safety measures.
