Nana Efa Apenteng, the Omanhene of the Bompata Traditional Area, has commended the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the substantial developments in his region, particularly in road construction and the provision of essential social amenities like schools and healthcare facilities.

He expressed that the government is not effectively communicating its achievements, which prevents Ghanaians from fully recognizing the progress made.
Reflecting on his 43 years of leadership, Nana Apenteng noted that the level of development under the current administration is unprecedented.
He, therefore, urged the NPP and its communicators to do more to publicize these achievements, both within his area and nationwide.
Nana Apenteng made these remarks during a durbar of chiefs and the people of Juaso, the capital of the Asante Akyem Constituency in the Ashanti Region.
The event, which also saw the attendance of members of the clergy, was organized in honor of the NPP’s Vice Presidential Candidate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, who was on a campaign tour on Thursday, August 15, 2024.
Dr. Prempeh expressed his gratitude to the chiefs and residents of the constituency for their unwavering support and loyalty to the NPP over the years.
He encouraged them to continue placing their trust in the party, emphasizing that the NPP is the only party in Ghana that consistently fulfills its social contract.
He also called on the people to vote massively for his running mate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and the party’s Parliamentary Candidate, Lawyer Kwaku Asante-Boateng, in the upcoming December elections.
Dr. Prempeh’s entourage included notable figures such as Kennedy Agyapong (MP for Assin Central and former Presidential Aspirant), Buttey Smith (National 1st Vice Chairman), Bernard Antwi Boasiako (Ashanti Regional Chairman), and several others.
