Naa Djama Prempeh, wife of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) running mate, has called on tailors and dressmakers in Accra to support the NPP, promising that the party will revitalize Ghana’s textile and garment industry.

With the Greater Accra Region holding the highest number of registered voters among Ghana’s 16 regions, the NPP is ramping up its outreach efforts there.

Naa Djama Prempeh, joining the campaign trail, has focused her attention on her home region.

Speaking at a regional conference with garment industry professionals, she urged attendees to vote for the NPP, highlighting the party’s commitment to strengthening local businesses in textiles and fashion.

“It’s important to recognise that my party; the NPP, emphasises in its manifesto our commitment to empowering local industries and promoting entrepreneurship.

“This includes supporting the fashion and tailoring sectors, which are vital to our economy and creative jobs.

“We believe that by investing in our artisans, we can stimulate growth, enhance livelihood and create a sustainable future for all,” she stated
