The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has urgently requested a meeting with the Electoral Commission to address concerns about the ongoing voter exhibition exercise.

In a letter signed by General Secretary Fifi Kwetey, the NDC underscored the need for this meeting to discuss “serious discrepancies” identified during the 2024 voter exhibition process.
The party noted that an analysis of the provisional voter register has revealed numerous issues that need prompt resolution.
The voter exhibition exercise, which started nationwide on Tuesday, August 20, is set to conclude on Tuesday, August 27.
Below is the NDC’s full letter.
REQUEST FOR AN IMPORTANT EMERGENCY MEETING WITH YOUR TEAM OVER THE 2024 VOTER EXHIBITION EXERCISE
We bring you greetings from the NDC Party Headquarters, Accra and trust that this letter finds you well.
We write to request an important emergency meeting with you and your team to discuss very serious discrepancies discovered during the ongoing 2024 voter exhibition exercise.
The discrepancies emanate from analysis of the Provisional Voter Register (PVR) given to us by the Commission, and registers being exhibited at the centres.
We anticipate a favourable and timely response as we work towards free, fair and transparent elections.
