Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage recently shared that she initially disliked two of her major hit songs, “Eminado” and “Dorobucci,” before they were released.

In an interview with Cool FM, Tiwa revealed that both songs were pushed by her then-manager, Don Jazzy, who believed they had strong potential in the Nigerian market.
She explained, “When I first heard ‘Eminado,’ I wasn’t a fan. Don Jazzy insisted it go on my album, even saying the album wouldn’t release without it.
I asked him what ‘Eminado’ meant, and he said he knew what listeners wanted.”
Similarly, she wasn’t keen on “Dorobucci,” and recorded her verse last, doubting its appeal. To her surprise, both songs became fan favorites across Africa.
Now, she performs them regularly because her fans love them.
