A 15-year-old boy who was kidnapped at Kabulya in the Nanumba South District has been found by police in a critical condition.
The victim was discovered abandoned with severe gunshot wounds to the neck and arms.
He was immediately rushed to the Kpandai Hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment.
Police have confirmed that the case has been referred to the regional command for further investigation and action.
Meanwhile, the suspect remains in custody and has also been transferred to the regional command as investigations continue.
