Former Anyaa Sowutuom Member of Parliament, has expressed concern over what he describes as a delay in the appointment of key sector ministers, particularly in the environmental and defence portfolios.

Speaking in an interview, Dr. Adomako Kissi said environmental challenges requires stronger and more urgent attention from government.

According to the former MP, the delay in naming substantive ministers for the environment and defence sectors could affect coordination and emergency response.

The gap, he cautioned can directly impact citizens’ safety and well-being, as Ghana continues to grapple with seasonal flooding and environmental degradation.
