Aspiring National First Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the party’s Director of Communications, Richard Ahiagbah, has outlined his vision for strengthening the party’s internal structures, stressing the need for improved administration to address its challenges.

Ahiagbah said his campaign is anchored on a forward-looking plan aimed at reorganising the party and improving its effectiveness.

Responding to a question on what he would highlight as key priorities in his bid, he emphasised the need for strong internal management to resolve the party’s current difficulties.

“A forward vision will suffice and say this is why I want to be one of them, and one of them is what I have told you – as a party, right now we need serious administration of the party we don’t have.

“That is one thing we need to do. If we do that, we will fix a lot of the problems,” he said.

Ahiagbah noted that previous efforts to improve the party’s internal systems were unsuccessful due to internal political challenges.

“That is one of the things we started to do, but there were some internal political issues that prevented those things from happening,” he added.
