Hostel operators are crying foul over what they call unfair targeting and criminal treatment.
Speaking at a press briefing on Wednesday, the group accused authorities of what they described as hostile actions against their businesses.
The treatment they lament, is not only damaging their livelihoods but also threatening the stability of student accommodation nationwide.
They are demanding fair regulation, protection of their investments, and an enabling environment to operate without intimidation.
