The Ghana Technical and Vocational Education and Training Service has announced the commencement of its 2026 nationwide recruitment exercise following clearance from the Ministry of Finance, with applications officially opening on Friday, May 8.
The recruitment exercise covers both teaching and non-teaching positions across Technical and Vocational Education and Training institutions nationwide, as the Service moves to strengthen staffing capacity across the sector.
In a statement issued on Friday, May 8, GTVET said that all prospective applicants must meet specific eligibility requirements, including completing mandatory national service, where applicable. It also stressed that applicants must be willing to accept postings to any part of the country.
The Service noted that all applications will be subjected to a competitive selection process to be conducted in collaboration with the Public Services Commission to ensure fairness and transparency.
”Applicant must be willing to work in any part of the country,” the statement added.
Interested applicants can submit their applications either physically at the GTVET headquarters in East Legon or online via the official recruitment portal. The deadline for submission of applications is Friday, May 22, 2026.
GTVET assured the public that the exercise will be strictly merit-based and transparent, cautioning applicants against dealing with unauthorised persons or making any payments to secure placement in the recruitment process.
